Bulk Operations

Open Configurations → Edit items for item operations, Resources for images, or Tables → Manage devices for guest devices.

Batch-edit filtered items

1. Filter the item list, for example #8-12 for item numbers 8 through 12.
2. Choose Batch Edit (N) and check the number of matching items.
3. Edit the offered attribute groups. Common fields show their shared setting; mixed fields indicate differing settings. Fields left untouched are not updated.
4. Choose Apply to to move to target review.
5. Expand/review the targets and exclude items that should not change.
6. Choose Apply, read the confirmation, and confirm the intended scope.

Batch fields include classification, characteristics, availability, printer group, and translated-name display. Category and sub-item/customization copying are not batch-edit controls. Do not expect every individual-item field to be available here.

Copy attributes from one item

1. Use Copy attributes from on the source item.
2. Select the attribute groups to copy, such as classification, characteristics, availability, printer group, or sub-items/customization.
3. Continue to Apply to and find the intended target items.
4. Check the selected targets, exclude exceptions, and read the confirmation before applying.

Copying transfers the selected groups from the source; it does not mean merging every target's previous settings. Inspect the source's settings before copying, especially sub-item choices and selection limits.

Image operations

Batch mode offers assigning images to items without one, force-reassigning images, and removing images. These options have different scopes; check the target count and confirmation.

Automatic assignment shows progress and completion/failure information. Inspect the failure details and missing-image indicators afterward. Force reassignment can replace existing item image references; removing image references from items is different from deleting files in Resources.

Resource selection

Select individual images or use select-all for the currently filtered selection. Check the count before ZIP download or deletion. Read usage warnings before removing referenced images. Deletion is not an undoable item-image reassignment.

Remove devices

Open Manage devices, select names, and choose Remove selected. Removal starts immediately without an extra confirmation dialog. Verify the selection first; it ends those devices' participation in the session.

Verify a bulk change

1. Reopen one included item and check the attributes or image you intended to change.
2. Check an excluded item to confirm it retained its previous settings.
3. Inspect a relevant menu page in the guest view.

For a large item change, save a configuration version beforehand. If recovery is needed, remember that restoring a version replaces the configuration, including other changes made since that version.
