Resources

Open: Resources in the left menu. Available to restaurant administrators.

Resources is the image library used by menu items, customization backgrounds, branding, and banners.

Upload and find images

  1. Choose Upload resources and select image files.
  2. Wait for upload and processing to finish before choosing the images elsewhere.
  3. Search the library. Annotation search can find images by their recorded descriptions or other annotation information.
  4. Use the identity, usage, and sorting controls to narrow the results.

The upload dialog accepts images. Upload image catalog is a separate catalog operation, not the menu-item JSON import. Use a catalog prepared for that operation.

Inspect and prepare an image

Use the image's available actions to inspect annotations, create a square crop, or view generated variations. Cropping creates a resource that can then be selected for an item. Variations are alternative image versions; they do not create menu items.

Menu-item image search/import and image framing are described in Menu Management. Check source and attribution information before using an imported image.

Download or delete a selection

Select the images you need. Use the download action to obtain a ZIP archive of the selection. Search and selection are related: review the visible selection and its count before a bulk action.

Usage badges identify references to images. Read usage warnings before deleting an image used by a menu or other content. Deleting a resource can leave that content without its image; a warning is not a replacement image or an undo function.

See Bulk Operations for multi-selection and batch deletion.

Troubleshooting

If a new crop is not visible, wait for processing and check the library search/filter settings. If an item has a missing image, select an existing resource or upload a replacement; do not assume an old reference still exists.

Repair generated image variants

Use Heal resources when generated variants need repair. Watch the status panel for progress, processed, skipped, and failed counts. A finished run can still include failed resources; review those counts before checking the affected images again. This operation is separate from selecting an alternative image for a menu item.

Check the result

After an upload or crop, find the resource in the library and select it in the item or banner that needs it. Then inspect that content in the guest view. An image appearing in Resources does not assign it to a menu item automatically.
