Agents
Open: Agents in the left menu. Available to administrators and system accounts.
Agents run background jobs. This screen shows their reported status and job properties; it is separate from the cash-register connection overview in Messages.
Inspect a job
- Expand an Agent for Job entry.
- Check Last Run.
- Read the job name and its properties.
- Expand View Messages when a property contains a message list. Each entry includes a timestamp and message.
The job's enabled state is shown by its switch and name color. Enabled means the job is enabled; use last-run information and messages to investigate whether useful work is being completed.
Enable or disable work
Change a job's switch only when you understand that job's purpose. The change is sent immediately; disabling background work can interrupt dependent restaurant operations. If the change fails, the interface restores the previous switch state.
To refresh the reported information, reopen or reload the page. If expected agents are missing or no longer running, ask the installation operator to investigate the backend service. This screen does not install or restart that service.

Investigate a stalled job
- Note the job name, enabled state, Last Run, and the latest relevant message.
- Reload the page and compare the information. Whether a new run is expected depends on that job's schedule; do not infer a failure from age alone.
- If expected work remains stalled, give these details and the affected location to the installation operator.
Avoid repeatedly toggling a job as a recovery attempt. Check its dependent operation, such as queue progress or register communication, after an intentional change.
